Big day

July 4, 2017

Tripawds is a user-supported community. Thank you for your support!

Surgery tomorrow and feeling very nervous, but ready to get the tumor out. Doing a lot of research and figuring out the best plan of action for our Yoshi. Lots of questions for the oncologist. It’s very overwhelming, but we are trying to be optimistic. We are so grateful to have this forum to be able to get information and support during this time in our lives. This community has helped us tremendously in easing our worries and has given us a positive direction. Thank you!!!

Oh gosh! Just catching up on the very handsome and very cute YOSHI!! 🙂

I looooove his pictures!! He really is soaking in the joys and beauty of nature!

I his look he’s giving the camera. It DEFINITELY is a NO WORRY look! This dog is a very chill doggy!! 🙂

STAY CONNECTED, okay? This recovery oart is no picnic for a week or two, or more, or less! EVERY dog is different. But we’ve pretty much seen it all, so let us know how we can best support you.

Yoshi will spend the night (I assume he’s going to a 24 hr clinic) and will be seeing pink elephants tomorrow! ‘So try and get some rest tomorrow night. Update us when surgery is over.

And when you do go to pick him up, don’t even vother tomlook at his incision. His eyes will be on you! He’ll just want to see your smiling face and hear you tell him what a good boy he is!!! 🙂

And eat lots of CHOCOLATE everyday during recovery…it helps!!

    Lots of hugs!

Sally and Alumni Happy Hannah and Merry Myrtle and Frankie too!

He’s in surgery now. Getting the house set up for when he gets home. Putting down rugs and mats so he doesn’t slip on our hardwoods. We have memory foam and I was thinking of using that for his bed instead of his soft round one. Any suggestions, we would greatly appreciate. We will see which one Yoshi will be more comfortable in. I’m trying to be positive, but this is really scary and emotional. We won’t see him until tomorrow. Dr will call and update us in a couple of hours. Thank you again for your encouraging words. Your thoughtfulness has touched us and has given us strength.
